Juice Jargon

Questions for Dr. Stephen (Steve) Reiss, Certified Wine Educator -
Author of "Juice Jargon - How to talk about wine"

Could you tell us a little bit about your interest in wines, when it began and how has it blossomed?

What inspired you to write your book "Juice Jargon?"

Who would benefit from reading your book?

Are the terms you teach, basic terms used by the "industry" or are you just trying to make up more terms for an already exhaustive supply of descriptive words on how a wine can taste? (This may go into a few more questions)

Am I going to become an obnoxious boor after I read this book, droning on and on at cocktail parties about hints of vanilla?

What kind of feedback have you received from a reader, a year or so after they have read the book? Has it increased their exploration of wines?

Is this book used as a group study guide? If so, how has that worked?

Your book helps you identify wines from around the world. I for one know that just reading the labels of some wines can be difficult enough to understand the wine you might purchase. How does your book guide you through imported wine?

How can people go about and purchase your book?
